How I host

  • I prepare with care

Before we ever hit record, I take time to understand who I'm talking to: their story, not just their bio. That care is why so many guests tell me, “I've never shared this before.”

  • I hold space

Twenty years in sales taught me to read people. Now I use that to sense when to gently lean in and when to let silence do the work.

  • I listen like a teacher

My Master of Arts in Teaching shaped how I listen: patiently, without rushing, without interrupting someone mid-thought, and pausing accordingly. Hard stories deserve room to unfold.

  • I share my own story

I talk openly about living with vertigo and anxiety. When I go first, guests know they're not alone, and that being honest here is safe.

Before you press play

You're not alone here.

Coming From The Heart is a community first, and a validation that you're not alone. Real people share real stories so nobody has to sit with something heavy by themselves. It's not therapy, and it's not medical advice. If something a guest shares stays with you, I hope it's the start of a conversation, with someone in your life or with a licensed therapist or doctor who knows your full picture.

Guests choose what they share, and how much. When an episode covers something heavier, like trauma, addiction, sobriety or grief, I try to say so up front, so you can listen when and how it feels right for you.
